Welcome to Peru! We know how exhausting international flights can be, so upon your arrival in the Peruvian capital, we will make your arrival as smooth and stress-free as possible. Your Inti Sun Trek representative will be waiting for you at Lima Airport, holding a sign with your name, to welcome you and transfer you comfortably to your selected hotel.

After checking in, you can take time to relax, enjoy a refreshing shower, and recover from your journey. If you prefer, you may also explore the nearby areas or enjoy Peru’s world-famous gastronomy with lunch at your hotel or at one of the many excellent local restaurants (meals not included).

Depending on your arrival time, you also have the option to join the Lima City Tour, available daily at 8:30 AM or 2:00 PM. During the tour, you will explore the three stages of Lima: Ancestral, Colonial, and Modern Lima. Highlights include a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana Pyramid, the Historic Center of Lima with its impressive colonial architecture, the San Francisco Convent and Catacombs, and the modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores.

The tour also includes a visit to the Central Reserve Bank Museum, where you can admire an important collection of pre-Columbian gold, ceramics, and textiles.

Note: The Central Reserve Bank Museum is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.

If you prefer not to join the city tour, you can explore Lima at your own pace by visiting the district of Miraflores, one of the city’s most popular tourist areas. You may enjoy a walk through Kennedy Park or go shopping at the famous Larcomar shopping center, located along the Pacific coast.

In the evening, we highly recommend enjoying dinner at Central or Maido, both recognized among the best restaurants in the world by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Due to high demand, advance reservations are highly recommended

At 4:00 AM  we will pick up from your hotel, We will travel 245 kilometers along the Pan-American Highway until we reach Paracas, a tourist resort in the province of Pisco. On the way we will have a brief stop in the city of Chincha to use the services and / or taste a typical breakfast of that city (optional), we continue with the tour until we reach our destination point, Paracas at approximately 7:45 am

08:00 AM – DEPARTURE TO THE BALLESTAS ISLANDS: In a motorized slider, On our tour we will appreciate the famous Candelabra, this is an immense petroglyph; located in the Bay of Independence, Paracas. Continuing our tour 30 minutes offshore we will observe the biodiversity of marine fauna resident in the Ballestas Islands such as: Guaneras and marine birds such as the famous Peruvian Piquero, Cormorant Guanay, Cormorant of Red Legs, Zarcillo, Peruvian Pelican, Humboldt Penguin, Sea lions and dolphins After 02 hours of tour we will return to the private port of the Bay of Independence, to continue with our next excursion, 10:00 to

10:30 am. Departure to the city of Ica 11:00 AM. WE WILL VISIT THE CRAFTS VITIVINICOLA WINERY “EL CATADOR” or “NIETO” Winner of national awards. Here we will know how the wine and pisco are made in an artisanal way and de-taste of the liquors of the winery. TIME TO LUNCH

16:30. P.M. VISIT TO THE OASIS AND LAGOON OF HUACA-CHINA: This is a natural oasis located five kilometers west of the city of Ica, surrounded by huge dunes, emerald green waters, around it there is abundant vegetation composed of palm trees, eucalyptus ( introduced species) and the carob tree species known as Huarango, which is used for resting migratory birds that pass through this region. Here we will do in 1 hour 30 minutes the tour in BUGGY (tubular), ideal for people who like to feel the speed, adrenaline and wind winding their face, and who are not interested in sticking a sand bath when our BUGGY begins to climb and go down the biggest dunes of this place. At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to the bus station, where you will take a 2-hour night bus to Nazca. Following breakfast, we will take you to the local María Reiche Neuman Airport (NZC), a small airfield in the Vista Alegre district primarily used for tourist flights in small planes and helicopters, rather than regular commercial flights. Here, you will take a scenic flight over the Nazca Lines, where you can admire famous geoglyphs such as the Monkey, Hummingbird, and Spider from the air.

After the flight, there will be optional time to visit the Antonini Archaeological Museum or simply explore the town. Around 3:00 p.m., you will board the Cruz del Sur bus to Lima (approximately 6 hours). Once you arrive at the bus station, we will pick you up and transfer you to your selected hotel, where you will spend the night.

The tour begins at 8:00am with pickup at your hotel or hostel and a picturesque ride to the village of Pisac for a visit to its famous craft market. Located 33 kilometers from Cusco, the village of Pisac sits below one of Cusco´s most important archeological sites, where you will be able to explore an ancient Inca agricultural center and its stunning terraces. In Urubamba, or “The Heart of the Sacred Valley,” you can eat lunch (not included) in the shadow of snow-capped Chicon Mountain and explore the lush, palm-filled Plaza de Armas before continuing with the afternoon portion of the tour.

Next, you will arrive in Ollantaytambo, where villagers still live in ancient stone houses built by the Incas around Hanan Huacaypata Square. You will experience the majesty of one of the Inca´s most impregnable fortresses, as you climb to the scenic Temple of the Sun and admire the sophisticated engineering of the Baths of the Princess.

Finally, you will board the 4:30 p.m train to Aguas Calientes, After an approximately two-hour journey through the Andes, you will arrive at Aguas Calientes train station, where you will be greeted by our staff and escorted to your hotel and hostel to spend the night before your day at Machu Picchu. At dinner, you will be briefed on the next day´s tour and itinerary.

Visiting Machu Picchu
There are two ways to reach Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes:

Hike: For a more active experience, you can hike from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, which takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Bus: The fastest and easiest option. Buses take you directly to the entrance of the site. Each journey lasts 25 minutes, and the ticket is included in the tour package

Inside Machu Picchu
Once inside the Inca citadel, you’ll enjoy a guided tour lasting approximately two hours. You’ll explore the most important sectors of this ancient wonder, including temples, houses, terraces, and agricultural areas. The ingenuity of Inca engineering—far ahead of its time—continues to inspire awe and curiosity to this day.

After the Tour
Once your visit to Machu Picchu is over, you’ll take a bus back down to Aguas Calientes. In town, you’ll find plenty of great spots to relax and enjoy lunch. After your meal, make your way to the train station in time for your return departure

Can I Still Climb Huayna Picchu?
Yes, you may still have the chance to climb Huayna Picchu Mountain, but please note:

The climb is only allowed in the morning and is split into two entry groups:

Group 1: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Group 2: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

You can choose to climb either before or after your scheduled visit to Machu Picchu, depending on availability and your ticket.

Note: Machu Picchu Inca site is different from Machu Picchu Mountain. When most people refer to Machu Picchu, they are referring to the archeological site. Machu Picchu Mountain requires a separate permit to climb. Please notify us if you are interested and we can book this for you. It must be done in advance and is a part of your entry into the site

YWe will start our trip at 4:30 a.m. picking you up from your hotel in our tourist transport. Afterward, we head south from Cusco, with a tour of 1 hour and a half to have a buffet breakfast at the restaurant Then, we will continue the trip for more than an hour, to the motorcycle parking. In the place, the guide will give us the indications to be safe during the trip.
We begin our ATV tour to Rainbow Mountain. After one hour and a half, we will arrive at the last parking lot. Subsequently, we will begin our walk of approximately 40 minutes, until we reach the top. Immediately, after having reached Rainbow Mountain, we will have time to take some photographs and videos. We will return through the same place until we reach our parking lot. Then, we will board our tourist transport to get to the restaurant. We will have our buffet lunch at “Restaurant”. To culminate, we will return to Cusco. We will arrive at 3:00 our 4:00 pm.

We will pick you up between 4:30 a.m.and 5:00.a.m from your accommodation in Cusco. We will then travel by private van to the village of Mollepata in the rich countryside of the Apurimac valley. The scenic trip lasts for 2 and a half hours before we arrive at Mollepata, where we  normally stop for 30 minutes to have breakfast. Then, we will continue our journey towards Soraypampa, where we will start our trek (4000m/12,750ft). We will start hiking up a moderate slope for one and a half hours until we reach Humantay lake (4,300M, 14,107Ft). From this point, we can soak in the spectacular views of the turquoise waters of Humantay Lake that lays peacefully at the base of the picturesque Humantay Glacier and is one of the most stunning places in the Cusco Region. We will continue our downhill trek for one and half hours to Soraypampa located at (4000m/12,750ft), and have lunch. Finally, after an amazing journey, you will travel for 2 1/2 hours in a van before you arrive back at your accommodation. Your arrival time in Cusco will be approximately 6:00 p.m.

We pick you up at your hotel at 6:30am to take you to the bus station (Inca Express or Tourismo Mer). Both  companies provide royal class service with an English-speaking tour guide, a waiter who is ready to assist you with hot, and cold drinks on board. During the trip, you will stop to visit some Inca constructions, museums and the Andahuaylillas Church, which is considered to be the Sistine Chapel of South America because of its amazing frescos. Then we stop at the Racchi Inca ruins, which used to be a religious and resting place for Inca travelers. The next visit is at La Raya, the border between the regions of Cusco and Puno, where the most traditional animals of Peru can be seen, llamas and alpacas. In Pucara, we will visit a museum where it is possible to see some pre-Inca remains. Finally, by 5.30 pm we arrive in the city of Puno, where our representative will pick you up to take you to your hotel.

We pick you up at your hotel in Puno at 7:30am and transfer you to the port of Puno.  This is when you adventure begins to “the Uros floating islands” an ancient ethnic group of people living on Lake Titicaca since pre-Incan times. They are still maintaining their original lifestyle fishing, hunting birds, gathering eggs and making optimum use of the reeds even as food.  At about 8:30 you will arrive at the islands and get to enjoy the opportunity to interact with the local families. You will visit their homes, and have a demonstration of how they live their lives, and how they construct the floating islands.  You will have the option for a boat ride on the magnificent reed boats constructed by the locals (10 soles extra).  After enjoying some time on the Uros Islands, you will be on your way to Taquile Island arriving around 11am.  There you will have the opportunity to experience some local music and dance, have a scrumptious lunch at a local restaurant, and time to hike around the island and enjoy the spectacular landscape and views of Lake Titicaca.  You will arrive back to Puno at around 3:30pm and be transferred back to your hotel.

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to Juliaca Airport, which is about one hour from Puno. Upon arrival at the airport, you will check in at the airline counter, where you will receive your boarding passes. Then, you will take your flight back to Lima, with a travel time of approximately one hour.
