Itinerary

Itinerary Huaraz, Trekking to Paron Lagoon Full day

After pickup from your hotel (approximately 8:00 AM), we will travel in our vehicle to the city of Carhuaz, where we will make a brief stop to visit its main square and have the opportunity to buy any food or drinks we may have forgotten. From there, we will continue to the city of Caraz, located 70 km north of Huaraz. Here, we will begin a gradual ascent along an unpaved road, passing through picturesque villages on our way to Laguna Parón.

Once at Laguna Parón, we will have time to walk around the lagoon and observe the wild Andean flora, as well as admire the impressive pyramidal peaks of the Cordillera Blanca, including Artesonraju, Pirámide Garcilazo, and Caraz. The lagoon’s beautiful turquoise waters make this an unforgettable destination.

For those interested, there is an additional walking option (approximately 40 minutes) along a nearly vertical zigzag path, with some rocky sections, leading to a viewpoint where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire lagoon.

After spending some time exploring and taking photos, we will return along the same route to the city of Caraz and continue our journey back to Huaraz. The tour will end at approximately 6:00 PM
