Our Commitment to the ESNNA Program

The ESNNA program is part of the social development and protection policies for vulnerable populations promoted by MINCETUR. Its main goal is to raise awareness and train all sectors of society to prevent and ultimately eliminate the sexual exploitation of minors.

By obtaining MINCETUR certification, Inti Sun Trek aligns with the highest government standards for quality and responsibility in tourism services. As part of this commitment, we have signed the ESNNA Code of Conduct, which requires us to:

Concrete Actions

At Inti Sun Trek, all our team members  including guides, cooks, drivers, and logistics staff  are properly trained to implement the ESNNA Code of Conduct. It is strictly forbidden to offer, request, or participate in any form of sexual tourism involving minors, for both ethical and legal reasons.

We also work closely with our strategic partners (hotels, restaurants, transport providers, and others) to ensure that the ESNNA commitments are respected at every stage of our tourism services.
If any suspicious situation arises, our staff is fully prepared to report it immediately to the appropriate authorities.

Social Responsibility and Community Support

Our commitment to children’s well-being goes beyond legal compliance. Through ethical and responsible tourism, Inti Sun Trek contributes to the development of local communities by creating jobs and generating sustainable income.

We also organize social support activities, such as providing school supplies and hygiene products to children in rural areas — for example, in the Chiara community (Cusco). Additionally, we promote the preservation of Andean traditions and the empowerment of women and mothers who care for their children and adolescents.

Tourism with Purpose

At Inti Sun Trek, we believe that tourism should create real and lasting benefits for local communities, the region, and the entire country.
This belief is deeply aligned with our mission, vision, and corporate values, which emphasize responsible, inclusive, and sustainable tourism.
