Welcome to Peru!

Upon your arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, an Inti Sun Trek representative will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name.

You will then be transferred comfortably to your selected hotel in Lima.

After check-in, you will have time to rest, take a shower, and recover from your international journey.

If you prefer, you can also explore the surrounding area or enjoy Peru’s renowned cuisine at your hotel or at one of the nearby restaurants.

Meals on this day are not included.

Depending on your arrival time, you will have the option to take the Lima City Tour, available daily at approximately 8:30 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.

During the tour, you will discover the three historical stages of Lima: Ancient, Colonial, and Modern Lima.

The tour includes:

• Panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana
• Lima Historic Center
• San Francisco Convent and Catacombs
• San Isidro
• Miraflores
• Central Reserve Bank Museum

At the Central Reserve Bank Museum, you can admire a collection of pre-Columbian gold artifacts, ceramics, and textiles.

Important: The Central Reserve Bank Museum is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.

If you decide not to take the City Tour, you can explore Lima independently.

Recommended options include Miraflores, Kennedy Park, and Larcomar overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Between approximately 4:30 and 5:00 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel in Lima and begin the journey south toward Paracas.

Upon arrival, continue to El Chaco Pier, where you will board a modern speedboat for the excursion to the Ballestas Islands.

During the boat trip, you can enjoy spectacular coastal scenery and observe different species of marine wildlife, including:

• Sea lions
• Humboldt penguins
• Flamingos and parihuanas
• Different species of seabirds

During the journey, you will also see the famous Candelabra geoglyph while your guide explains different theories about its origin.

Approximate boat tour duration: 1 hour and 40 minutes.

After the excursion, continue toward Ica.

You will have free time for lunch.

Next, visit the Noelia Chocolate Factory, where you can sample traditional regional products such as chocotejas, alfajores, jams, artisan cookies, filled mousses, and more.

In the afternoon, continue toward the beautiful Huacachina Oasis.

Here you will enjoy an exciting dune buggy ride and a sandboarding experience in the desert.

You will also have free time to walk around the oasis and take photographs.

Before returning to Lima, visit a local winery, where you can taste traditional regional products including:

• Wines
• Piscos
• Pisco creams
• Macerated spirits
• Mistelas

At approximately 7:00 p.m., begin the return journey to Lima.

Arrival is expected at approximately 10:00 p.m., followed by transfer to your selected hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel in Lima, you will be assisted with the transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco.

During the flight, you can appreciate the impressive change in scenery as Peru’s Pacific coast gradually gives way to the Andes.

Upon arrival at Cusco Airport, a representative will be waiting in the arrivals area with a sign displaying your name.

You will then be transferred comfortably to your selected hotel.

Cusco is located at approximately 3,399 meters / 11,152 feet above sea level.

After check-in, we recommend taking some time to rest and acclimatize.

You may also enjoy a traditional cup of coca tea at your hotel.

Depending on your arrival time, you will have the rest of the day free to explore Cusco at your own pace.

• Visit the traditional San Blas neighborhood
• Browse local handicraft shops
• Relax in one of Cusco’s cafés
• Enjoy Peruvian and Andean cuisine at a local restaurant

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Cusco.

Travel in private transportation for approximately 1.5 hours to Ollantaytambo Train Station.

From Ollantaytambo, board your train to Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu Town.

Upon arrival, your professional guide will be waiting outside the train station with a sign displaying your name.

Your guide will accompany you to the bus station.

From there, take an approximately 20-minute bus ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

During the guided walking tour, you will explore the archaeological site and have opportunities to take photographs at the stops indicated by your guide.

Visitors must follow the established Machu Picchu circuit and continue along the designated route.

After completing your visit, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes.

You will have time to enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants in town.

Depending on your return train schedule, you should arrive at the train station at least 30 minutes before departure.

The train journey back to Ollantaytambo takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Upon arrival, a team member will be waiting to accompany you to your transportation.

Travel approximately another 1.5 hours back to Cusco.

Arrival at your accommodation may be around 10:00 p.m., depending on the assigned train schedule.

Your mountain adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco accompanied by a professional mountain guide.

Travel toward Soraypampa, with a stop in Mollepata to enjoy breakfast before continuing into the Andes.

Upon arrival in Soraypampa, settle into your luxury dome.

The domes feature:

• Premium bed
• Private bathroom
• Hot shower
• Selected amenities
• Private terrace with views of Salkantay and Humantay

From the camp, begin a privately guided hike toward Humantay Lake.

The hike takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

At the lake, your guide will share information about the ancestral history and spiritual importance of this sacred Andean landscape.

An Andean ceremony will also be held as an offering of gratitude to Pachamama and the Apus.

After enjoying the turquoise lake and surrounding mountains, return to the camp.

A freshly prepared lunch will be waiting for you.

During the afternoon, enjoy an alpaca experience and spend time surrounded by the peaceful Andean landscape.

At sunset, participate in a special Pisco Sour cocktail class and learn how to prepare Peru’s iconic cocktail.

The evening concludes around a private campfire beneath the Andean sky.

The day begins early with a wake-up at approximately 5:00 a.m.

After an energizing breakfast at the camp, prepare for the ascent toward the highest point of the route.

You will gradually climb through spectacular high-Andean landscapes and follow the famous Seven Snakes Trail toward Salkantay Pass.

The pass reaches approximately 4,638 meters / 15,213 feet above sea level.

At the top, take time to admire panoramic views of the surrounding snow-covered mountains and the imposing Salkantay massif.

A short Andean gratitude ceremony to Pachamama and the Apus will also be held.

After this special moment, begin the descent through an extensive rocky landscape toward Soyrococha and continue back to Soraypampa.

Upon returning to the dome camp, enjoy a special ceviche cooking demonstration prepared by the chef.

A nutritious lunch will then be served.

Finally, board the private transportation for the return journey to Cusco.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., meet your guide in Cusco’s Plaza de Armas to begin the City Tour.

Your first visit will be Cusco Cathedral.

Continue on foot through the Historic Center toward Qorikancha – the Temple of the Sun.

At Qorikancha, your guide will explain the contrast between Inca stonework and the later colonial architecture built over the site.

Continue toward Avenida El Sol, where you will board your transportation for the archaeological section of the tour.

Visit Sacsayhuamán, famous for its enormous stone blocks and impressive Inca architecture.

Continue toward:

• Qenqo – known for its carved stone structures and ceremonial spaces
• Puka Pukara – an Inca archaeological complex located above Cusco
• Tambomachay – an archaeological site associated with water and ceremonial fountains

After the final visit, return to Cusco.

Later, according to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Cusco Airport for your onward journey.

If your flight departs later in the day, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or exploring nearby areas.

Upon arrival in Lima, connect with your international departure.
