Spreading Love and Light Inti Sun Trek and Niños del Sol

At Inti Sun Trek, we are committed to community, sustainability, and making our beloved Cusco region a better place. In 2017, we became partners with Ninos del Sol, a unique home for eighteen children in the Sacred Valley. Unlike other orphanages, Ninos del Sol prioritizes quality education, holistic wellbeing, and a genuine sense of family. The children who live there come from backgrounds of unimaginable poverty and violence; at Ninos del Sol, they are truly nurtured and loved. Directors Viviana and Avishai work hard to provide their children with education through university or trade academies, organic food from the home´s garden, opportunities for spiritual and creative growth through yoga and music, and a sense of leadership and responsibility. We regularly meet with Viviana to discuss new ways to aid these endeavors: we organize visits to the Ninos del Sol home in Urubamba, set up tours led by the home´s residents, and volunteer opportunities for our clients; furthermore, a portion of every sale is dedicated to Ninos del Sol. Thus, when you book with Inti Sun, you are not just making your own dreams come true—you´re supporting the dreams of a child, too.

A Revolutionary Children’s Home in Peru’s Sacred Valley

Niños del Sol is a children’s home in Peru where a group of children — all survivors of trauma, abuse, and neglect — are being raised as a family.

A Revolution in Love and Healing

At Niños del Sol, these kids are raised in a home filled with love where they can heal, grow, and receive the tools they need to break the negative cycles in their families for all future generations.

Our kids learn through chores, yoga, meditation, music, and group experiences under the supervision of long-term staff who care deeply about them. We know they are healing when we see them treat one another with kindness and respect, and when they succeed in school. Most of our kids are at the top of their classes.

100% of our funding comes from a loving community of individual donors like you. Our donors love celebrating the kids’ success with us as they grow into young adults.
