tips for a perfect ATV tour
What should I wear?
You can do the quad tour either in the morning or in the afternoon. If you are doing the quad tour in the afternoon, you will be driving during the sunset. When it gets dark, it can get pretty cold especially while driving, so bring a jacket! Even during the day it can be cold when it is cloudy, so wear layers!
Wear clothes that can get dirty
You will be driving over sandy and muddy roads, so expect to get dirty. Especially when you do the tour in the rainy season, you can expect rain and mud. So wear something that can get dirty and wear good shoes, so no flip-flops not sandals!
Take a rain jacket
The weather can change very quickly in the Andes, so be prepared for changes. Take a rain jacket or poncho with you in case of rain.
Bring sunblock and sunglasses
Because of the altitude, the sun can be very strong. Bring sunblock to avoid a sunburn and take sunglasses so you won’t be blinded by the sun while driving.
How many hours will we ride the quad ?
You will driving for 6 hours.
Can you pick me up from your hotel?
Yes, we can
Bring some snacks and drinks
The tour will start in a remote area of the Anta Valley, so there won’t be any possibility to buy snacks or beverages. Make sure you bring something to eat and drink.
Bring a backpack
You will be driving the quad through the Sacred Valley, so you won’t have any free hands to carry your purse or other loose items. Bring a backpack to carry your rain jacket, sunblock, snacks and drinks with you.
